In Canada Christmas day is december 25th (not december 24th) Holloween october 31st (not october 30th) Canada day july 1st (not june 30th) Why spending 3$ for something that does not work properly... They have my money and i have something that is not doing what it is suppose to do...

Great program...exactly what I was looking for

this is a useful application by all means, particularly for people like myself, who work with several countries. However, one very important feature missing, which is calender reminder of events. Particularly for things like anniversaries and birthdays. What good such an application would be if it doesnt remind the birthday of a person you enter. It should have been an option to remind all entries I make ahead of time. Otherwise you just have to remember to launch this application to see if someone has a birthday coming.

I really love this interface and how it separates birthdays and events as well as includes holidays (right now I use 2 apps to do all that). I LOVE that its not completely dependent on Contacts as other apps are because I have so many birthdays (spouses and children) that go beyond what Contacts will allow you to enter and so being able to manually enter dates is a REAL PLUS! I also love the animation. Its fun to watch and different than the other "static" apps I use. The only glitch I had was when I entered birthdays with no years. Sometimes it will crash when I enter the birthday first then deselect INCLUDE YEAR (or was it the other way around? I admit I cant remember now). Also, if I enter it incorrectly, save it, it will sometimes assign January 1, 2009 so I have to edit the entry again, do the entry in the right order and then it sticks. These are small complaints as I really like the app and what it provides informationally. The only request is to have some way of assigning an alarm sound as an alert when a birthday is like 7 days away or something like that. Though Im OCD about such things anyway and usually check whats coming during a particular month, sometimes when life gets hectic, it would be great to be able to get alerted by an alarm because I cant always check. Thanks for a really fun and practical app. I REALLY LOVE IT!

This is a great app. This app will eventually replace two separate apps I use for holidays and birthdays/anniversaries. However, this app crashes a lot, so not fully sold yet.

Tonight I almost forgot a good friends birthday. My iPhone, unlike my Treo, has no built in birthday reminder, so I spent more than an hour reading descriptions and reviews, and this is the program I decided on. For me it came down to three features, and this was the only program I found that had all three in the same program. - On the icon that starts the program, there is a "badge" that tells how many upcoming events there are, without having to open the application. Unfortunately due to Apples not allowing programs to run in the background, it only updates when you run the program, but at least you have an idea of upcoming events. - This program not only shows birthdays and events, but also Holidays. - I like that you can see past events, not just upcoming ones, so you know what you missed. In my first review, I complained about not being able to see the date of an upcoming event or birthday, just how many days until. A few days later a rev came out that gives you the option of always seeing the date. Very cool that the developer actually reads and responds to the reviews. Thanks!! (Ive upgraded my rating from four to five stars!) Note: after installing this app, I had a lot of lockups until I rebooted. Its been stable ever since... There is only one thing I dont like: - When you select an event, and then touch "show more info", it brings up that contact entry. Phone numbers, email addresses, and the like. But you cant do anything from this screen - it wont dial the numbers, or send email or anything. Why should I have to exit this app when all the info is right there... I love this app. It is well worth the $$$ to keep up with events like it does... Thanks!!

I bought this application because I liked the idea of being able to see a picture with the event and persons birthday. As instructed, I selected a photo to assign to the person or event. However, after I choose the photo and select "save", it does not save. I just get a generic shadow or silhouette picture. I tried several ways to fix the problem but I still have a shadow for a picture.

great app., i have so many family members and friends and a busy schedule. its hard to remember everyones birthdays. now i dont have this problem anymore with my events app. i just wish i could figure out how to put everyones pictures to the names on it.

i was thrilled to see an app that used my contacts bdays which i already took the time to type in; however, i wanted an app that would notify me much like my calendar does. i cant find anywhere in the settings or elsewhere that shows notification settings. theres no point in paying $2.99 to open up an app when i can just open up my contacts... i need to be NOTIFIED & preferably audibly!!!! maybe in the next update???

When I bought this App because I thought it would be great to never forget a birthday. However, to my displeasure  I have found out that u dont get any Alerts . This App . Can we please get this updated and soonYour picture shows it. It has a 3 just like text message on the App. Thatd false advertisment.

This app does exactly what it states! It DOES show the little badge on your icon notifying you of an upcoming event. You need to set it in your "settings" on your device. Also, from my understanding due to Apples software you HAVE to open the app in order for it to update. It is perfect, slick & a great price! I do wish I could change the photo for the title "event" though because not all my events are anniversaries :) I love this app though! Thanks so much!

I really like this app! I would, however, like to see the ability to add notes to entries done within the app itself, and a search function would be great also.

This could be improved upon. It would great to be able to sync with iCal. Also, should add option for religious holidays. Good app but I hope improvements are made. Needs ability to delete events.

I think itll be really great if we could edit and add in our own countries instead of having to choose it from the given list which isnt really long. If possible, could you please add Singapore into the database as it doesnt have much public holidays and stuff. However, Id still really recommend this app. Its worth the price!

It is necessary to have an alarm system for all. But imperative for Events and Bdays

This software is an extra software you dont need. The calender does a better job than this program. Has no functions what so ever.

I used this app briefly then took it off my iPhone. Later when I went back to try it again old events showed up which I could not get rid of. Ive been in contact with the developer and was told the only way I could delete the events from the app was to delete them in my contacts list. This is not acceptable so Ive taken the app off my phone for good. Lots of others apps out there to try.

The devloper claimed he was getting this app ready for push notification, however still no deal! I hate to say I have been waiting on the push for many months:( without push the badge icon and this app is worthless. If the developer ever decided to update push I would upgrade the rating. Intill then this app is just a glorified notebook.

One of the features I like, Holiday List, went blank. Developer said this happens sometimes but doesnt know why and said to reinstall. Reinstallation was free, and Holidays and Birthdays pulling from contact list were all restored.
